  1. Hi Stuart

I’m a Manly local and I happened to pick up Bury Me In Valletta from our street library.
I thoroughly enjoyed the read. I found it gripping and enjoyed the descriptiveness, it had had me hooked from the get go. I’m first generation Australian of Maltese heritage and have spent lots of time in Malta and Gozo. The way you described the country side, the streets, sounds and people etc, took me right back there.
keep up the good work, I look forward reading your other books.
    Shaun.

    1. Hi Shaun, I’m delighted that you enjoyed the book, and especially that someone of Maltese heritage appreciated it. Two of my closest friends lived at Xaghra and Sannat, and I visited them frequently in the 2000s, getting to know the islands well. As (formerly) an academic specialising in Arabic linguistics, I could understand about 25% of the language during my visits.
If you enjoyed Bury Me In Valletta, you’ll love the sequel The Sunset Assassin, set in Sydney in 1978.
      Thanks,
      Stuart
